Keta is an Employment Lawyer, and with over 20 years legal experience, has established herself as a leading practitioner in the field.

She is known for her ability to strategically resolve issues to best suit her client’s needs. Backed by an MBA, Keta understands the practical needs of business owners and gives advice with knowledge direct from the coalface.

With her experience as an Accredited Mediator, Keta can often resolve, even the most complicated of issues, without court intervention. However, if litigation is required, Keta has extensive commercial litigation experience to advise and represent her clients throughout the process.

Keta advises on all areas of employment law, workplace relations and human resources from significant (often aged) issues to providing an ad hoc ‘help line’ to her clients; from engaging the new employee to restructures, entitlements, performance management, exits and everything in-between.

Keta is an appointed sessional member of the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) and hears and determines matters in both Townsville and Brisbane across a broad range of the Tribunal’s jurisdictions.

Keta gives back to the legal profession by lecturing for the Law School at James Cook University in final year law subjects Civil Procedure and Legal Ethics.
